ARRESTED: Man allegedly breached DV order

Disqualified licence

A 21-year-old Yuleba man will front the Roma courthouse after allegedly driving with a disqualified licence.

Roma police allege they intercepted the man at 3.50pm on Friday, February 19 on Queen St and checks revealed his licence was disqualified by a few months.

He will front the Roma Magistrates Court on March 16.

Unlicensed truck driver

A 32-year-old man from New South Wales will front the Roma courthouse after police allegedly clocked him speeding before realising he was also unlicensed.

About 9.40pm on Friday, February 19, officers intercepted the Kenworth truck and checks revealed he was driving while unlicensed.

He will front the Roma Magistrates Court on March 16.

Man allegedly breached domestic violence order

In the afternoon of Saturday, February 20 officers were called to a Hoffman St residence for a disturbance.

While there, police charged a 43-year-old Roma male who had allegedly contravened his domestic violence order.

He was arrested and later released on bail and will from the Roma Magistrates Court on March 16.

Expired licence

At 11.30am on Sunday, February 2 police intercepted a woman on the Warrego Highway for a random breath test.

Police checks revealed the 55-year-old woman was driving with an expired licence.

She is due to front the Roma Magistrates Court at a later date.

Person spits on someone trying to assist

After a member of the public checked on someone walking close to town, they were allegedly spat on.

Police said about 2am on Saturday, February 20 the person abused the driver then spat on him.

Officers are still investigating the matter.

Alleged drug driver

A Roma woman allegedly tested positive to drug driving.

Officers intercepted the woman at 8pm on Monday, February 22 and she was ordered to do a saliva test while returned a positive result.

She was issued with a notice to appear in the Roma Magistrates Court at a later date.
