Masked suspects in stolen car steals fuel from Roma servo
UPDATE 12.45PM FRIDAY, NOVEMBER 20: POLICE believe the suspects who stole a Toyota Land Cruiser on Taylor St on Tuesday, refueled the vehicle and drove off without paying.
Roma police seized CCTV footage from United, located on the Warrego Highway, which shows the suspect getting out of the same vehicle that was stolen - Toyota Land Cruiser station wagon with Queensland Registration Plates 735 RFG.
At 10.55pm on Tuesday, November 17 CCTV footage shows the suspect wearing a piece of cloth to cover the face and fills up the car with about $80 worth of diesel.
No one else exits the car.
The suspect then gets into the rear seat of the vehicle before it drives away.
The managers did not report the matter to police.
Police are still investigating the incident.
UPDATE 9.30AM THURSDAY, NOVEMBER 19: A WOMAN woke up this morning to find her silver Toyota Land Cruiser stolen from her garage on Taylor St.
Roma police officer in charge senior sergeant said thieves made access to the residence, located keys to the vehicle and stole the Land Cruiser from the garage, which was adjoined to the house.
A Queensland Police Services spokeswoman said it happened between 9pm last night and 8am this morning.
Police are appealing for the public's help - if anyone has seen a silver Toyota Land Cruiser station wagon with Queensland registration plates - 735 RFG to contact Roma Police on 4622 9333 or Crime Stoppers 1800 333 000.
EARLIER: POLICE are on the hunt for offenders who allegedly broke into a home in Roma before stealing a car.
A Queensland Police spokesman said officers are currently investigating the matter after it was reported a house on Taylor St was broken into with offenders allegedly stealing keys to a 2010 Silver Landcruiser.
