Roma woman one of nine charged with murder
A ROMA woman is among nine charged with the murder of Toowoomba mum Debbie Combarngo 12 days ago.
Rhonda Ann Hall, 29, who had been living in Roma at the time of Ms Combarngo's murder, was charged alongside the others during a Toowoomba court hearing yesterday.
Her co-accused are Shiralee Fernando, Ty Peter Fing, Ashley Aaron Fing, Rhianna Jade Fing, Lynn Fay Jean Anderson, Jana Leigh Hall, Christine Maree Hall and Joshua James Lingwoodock.
The group was charged with murder in addition to their initial charges of two counts of assault occasioning bodily harm and one count each of enter dwelling with intent in company.
Ms Combarngo, 37, was found severely injured at a McGregor St residence in Wilsonton, Toowoomba, on May 6, following an alleged serious assault.
She was transported to Toowoomba Base Hospital where she later died as a result of her injuries.
Family members of the accused and Ms Combargno were present at the court hearing yesterday, with officers manning the foyer prior to the hearing.
None of the nine accused applied for bail and all nine were remanded in custody to reappear in the same court on July 5.
